Description

Beer batter is a mixture of flour, beer, and sometimes egg that is used to coat food before it is fried. The beer adds flavor and helps to create a crispy coating on the onion rings.


Ingredients

Units Scale

4 sliced onions (into circles)

1 tsp salt

1 cup all purpose flour

1 cup beer

1 tsp pepper

4 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Coat onions rings in flour and set aside.
  2. In a bowl add flour, beer, salt, and pepper mix well and onion rings.
  3. Preheat oven to 330 degree.
  4. Transfer coated rings to baking dish and bake for 5 minutes.
  5. Place rings in serving dish and serve warm.
