1/2 oz. black raspberry liqueur

2 oz. cranberry juice (add more if needed)

Mint sprig (garnish)

Blackberries (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker and then pour the vodka and black raspberry liqueur. Shake well.
  2. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  3. Add the cranberry juice.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint and some blackberries if you want.
  5. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Ideally served in a classic tumbler – tall or short, it’s up to you.
  • If you find this mix a little too sweet, you can add a splash of soda. Ginger ale is an excellent option but you can definitely utilize any clear soda.
  • Prep Time: 3 minutes

Recipe Variations

Like what we have said earlier, Purple Haze has lots of variations. You can do the following too:

  • Purple Haze Martini

Add 1 1/2 oz. vodka, 1 oz. blue curacao, and 1/2 oz. grenadine to a cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime twist.

  • Lemonade Purple Haze

Add 1 1/2 oz. vodka and 1 oz. Chambord into a highball glass with ice. Add equal amounts of lemonade and lemon-lime soda. Stir and then garnish with a lemon wedge before serving.

  • Purple Haze Shooter 1

This right here is just like the lemonade purple haze recipe. You just have to mix equal parts of the 3 ingredients and fill a shot glass.

  • Purple Haze Shooter 2

For this one, you need to mix grape and peach schnapps with rum. Shake and strain 1 oz. grape schnapps with 1/2 oz. each rum and peach schnapps into a chilled shot glass.

How Strong Are the Purple Haze Variations?

Purple Haze drinks vary in style as well as the amount of alcohol that they contain. If you want a strong drink, your best bet would be the martini and shooter variations. But if you want something light and smooth, then the lemonade mix is a great option. You can control the amount of liquor though.
