Mango Sesame Cake Recipe

Description

This cake is super moist and fragrant, thanks to the addition of mango puree. The sesame seeds add a lovely nutty flavor and texture to the cake, making it irresistible!


Ingredients

Units Scale

1 cup all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tbsp baking powder

4 dates

1 cup mango puree

1 tbsp avocado oil

1 tbsp sesame seed

1/2 cup lime juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Grease your cake pan using oil.
  2. Beat the dates with avocado oil.
  3. Add mango puree, lime juice and beat well.
  4. Gradually add the flour, salt and baking powder.
  5. Fold in using a spatula. Add the batter into the cake pan.
  6. Add the sesame seeds on top and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.

This cake is one of our all-time favorites. The mango sesame cake is light, fluffy and has a delicate flavor. The perfect dessert!
