1/4 tsp dried rosemary

1/4 tsp dried thyme

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup whole fat milk

1/2 tsp corn starch

  2. Coat the spice mixture generously over the chicken breasts.
  3. In a skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and place it over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook on each side until it gets a little color.
  5. Transfer the chicken to the plate and set it aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp olive oil and heat.
  7. Add minced garlic and sauté it for a minute.
  8. Add parsley, thyme, and rosemary and sauté for a minute.
  9. Pour in milk and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Combine water with cornstarch and add to the skillet once the milk is boiled.
  11. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
  12. Add chicken breast and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

For serving:

Garnish the chicken with fresh parsley and herbs and serve immediately alongside rice.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is fresh and well pounded.

You can use heavy cream instead of milk. If you use heavy cream, you don’t have to add cornstarch to thicken up the gravy.

You can pair oregano with basil and tarragon as well instead of rosemary, thyme, and parsley.

Serve this dish fresh.
